ONE. Hello there! Kitkatty here ( call my Kit / Kat / whatever you want )! EST time zone. 10+ years of tumblr rp experience. Part-Time retail worker and college student, so activity will be slow and sporadic. TWO. I’m caught up on main quest, though I haven’t read through all the side stories, or through all the events, so if you have a question about if I read such-and-such, just ask away! THREE. Headcanon-heavy muse, but I also adhere to some of her canon too. If you have any questions, read the about or feel free to IM me! FOUR. Private & Selective / Mutuals Only. AU-Friendly, OC-Friendly, Double-Friendly, and Cross-Fandom Friendly. FIVE. My default format style on my threads is no icons and small-sized text, but I’ll always try to copy my partner’s formatting style. I usually orbit around para / multi-para writing lengths, but there’s no pressure to match my length; as long as you’re not replying to two paragraphs with one or two sentences, it’s all good! SIX. I’m a multishipper, but I will ship Diantha only if both of our characters have chemistry or if we specifically plot something out together. I’m willing to ship any kind of relationship too, so please throw any plot ideas or aus that you can think up at me and I’ll probably love it.
SEVEN. I don’t RP smut or really gore-y things, but I will RP things that involve blood and violence, just not too much of it. I’ll also RP death, but it will be just a side RP for angst, not affecting Diantha in the long run (unless plotted between us). EIGHT. I personally do not get triggered by anything, but I try to tag things appropriately if they come up. That said, if you want something specific tagged, ask me and I will tag any trigger-warnings as ___ tw. Though I might forget; if this happens, please let me know! NINE. Please be respectful. THANK YOU AS ALWAYS Diantha was a shy and timid girl, not really liking all the attention of being a maiden. The added pressure of bringing prosperity to their island every concert, as well as being the most popular maiden, only made it worse. Because of all of the added stress, she was motivated to work twice as hard to make sure she never messes anything up, also being very sensitive to the comments and criticism from others and taking it to heart when she practices. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS Now that she’s a part of the Grandcypher, all of those past worries still follow her into her work as part of the crew, but slowly they’re starting to lessen. The wind in her hair and adventures across all different islands making her heart race; being on the Grandcypher is almost a dream come true.
She loves to read and learn about new stories of faraway places and of her home island alike, finding the history and stories ( whether true or just tall tales ) to be very fascinating. Reading and quiet moments to herself are the best times she can feel truly relaxed, burying herself in a big chair with a big book in a big library being her ultimate comfort dream. Diantha, after her maiden duties have come to an end but powers blessed by Xolotl to stay intact, decides to join the skyfarers that helped save her island. Her goal now is to explore the world and learn about everyone else’s cultures and histories, freeing herself amongst a vaster sky. She also aids the crew in any way she can, whether it be helping patch up their wounds after a fight, hyping them all up during said fight, or helping them cook a nice dinner to relax once they return back to their grand home. v: Ti Icniuhtli Xolotl

It’s Diantha’s last year as a maiden, and she can’t wait for it to just all be over. Being the favorite maiden of over half of Xochitl Island is nerve-racking, getting on stage and performing in front of all of them is a stressing task, and keeping those feelings bottled up has begun to weigh on her. But she doesn’t want to let the other maidens or the ichnia they sing to down, so she trains the hardest out of everyone to make sure she puts on the best performances and brings prosperity to their island. At least while she still has to. v: a bud yet to bloom

Diantha is a shy and quiet bookworm in her village, not wanting to drag attention onto herself...And yet attention is dragged onto her anyways. Mostly through her mother’s constant pressure for her to be a part of bunches of organizations and activities. When she’s little she adores it, but by age eleven she comes to loathe it ( you can specify age if you want this verse ). Her father isn’t much help with his persistent tries to get her to really like engineering ( which she liked learning about it, just not all the heavy lifting / work it came with ), and constant campouts and outdoors adventures. The latter also certainly made her happy, especially with her father’s fun facts and long stretches of silence while gazing over landscapes, but nothing made her happier than the first book he put in her hands. Her actually alone time is either spent in her room or the local library, reading up on everything she could understand. v: a new chapter begins

Leaving her maiden days behind, Diantha now trains to be the next head priestess to possibly fill the position when she gets older. As such, she still travels with the maidens, and now takes on instrument studies and lessons to create new songs for them. Though she’s able to have all of the attention from the ichnia off of her, the fans she had gravitated to the other girls, but still appreciating her work and blessings. However, she actually likes to reminisce about her time as a maiden with her friends and her old followers alike. (Different from her Never Ending Fantasy SR where she has to travel with the crew for a year; since her main verse is her in the crew i felt the need to tweak this a tad.) v: the sky’s storyteller

After Diantha has graduated from maidenhood, she decides to travel the skies with the sole purpose of becoming a writer. She travels with the crew for a bit but leaves them once she gains the courage to venture on her own, though she still runs into them and joins them from time to time. Her main task is working on a book about the true tales of Xolotl, and all of Xochitl Island’s history, but she also roams the skies for inspiration for her own novels.

Diantha is the child of stardom. Her mother, Iris, was a famous idol and singer from the 80s, and has since moved on to a musical and pianist career after she had Diantha, and taking on a temp professor role at a famous music college as time went on. Her father, Oleander, is an engineer and technical assistant through a big company, getting sent out to various locations or to go with various theatre troupes on tour, which is how he meets Iris in this universe. And both of them had inadvertently hit Diantha with the pressure of following in her mother’s footsteps ever since she was a little girl. And, even with trying to escape all the stardom that surrounded her, and even after a heated argument turned heart-to-heart made her parents (especially her mother) see what they had been doing was wrong, the pressure to live up to her name reared its head and strapped her into a life she didn’t want. That life was being a part of an idol group called “✿ Maidens ✿”, usually depicted as a M inside a multicolored, five petal flower. She got into the group after she promised to support her friend Harie in her audition, only to have them both suddenly getting into the group together (she figures it was for clout and stellar promotion material), and the company’s heinous insistence made her lock into a two-year contract. Now Diantha is patiently waiting for the day when her contract expires and she can relax in one place with a nice book, instead of having to travel across the country ( and even tour in others ) with millions of people watching her every move.
Verse can take place while Diantha is a maiden, or afterwards when she moves away from the idol life and tries to focus on getting the calm life she wanted. v: mechanical fever's idol?!

HSR Verse ( Integrated ) - Abundance Ice User. Born in the overworld of Belobog ( until another planet comes along and I go “THIS IS THE ONE FOR HER” ), there was only so much she could expect of herself growing up. All she really needed to do was to live up to her parents’ expectations, but all she wanted to do was co-own a bookstore and live a quiet life. However, life wasn’t as simple as she wanted it to be, and she ended up meeting a certain engineering senior after the underworld had been opened again…
Having been known for her beauty and cute voice from the many classes her mother put her in, but also being tech-savvy through helping her engineer father, she fell into becoming both Serval’s assistant and protege. And while she’s able to live fairly comfortably and at her own pace, she is contractually required to sing at least once a month in Mechanical Fever with her senpais…A terrible experience every time. v: a gust in the galaxy
